Florence Aluu is the founder of Flosverse, a social enterprise that uses VR technology to empower young girls. Florence is a certified Metaverse Expert and holds an MBA from Edinburgh Napier University. Currently, she is studying for her MSC digital education at the University of Edinburgh.
Originally from Nigeria, Florence has been a resident of Craigshill, Livingston for over four years, where she lives with her husband and three-year-old son.
Having been orphaned since the age of 7, Florence understands the struggles that young girls face without mentors in STEM and tech career fields. This inspired her to found Flosverse, which aims to bridge the gap by providing girls with access to VR technology and mentorship opportunities.
Flosverse is committed to empowering girls in West Lothian and beyond and offers a range of programs and initiatives to support their growth and development. Through its work, Flosverse hopes to inspire the next generation of female leaders in technology and STEM.
