Three Things for Thursday – 3rd September 2020

Hi folks – Well, Diane is on a well earned holiday this week and has handed over the TTT keys to me. I will apologise now if it’s a bit rubbish, I will, however, take all the praise if it’s awesome!
On another note, it’s September already – what’s that about?!

1/ £25m Sector Recovery Fund – This was announced by Nicola Sturgeon on the 1st September. It is to help the third sector thrive, post Covid-19. Have a read of this article for more information.

2/ Online Footprint – More now than ever, your organisations online presence is crucial. If you don’t already, make sure you have a Facebook and Twitter account and be active on them. Share news stories, updates on your organisation and job vacancies –  Use it as a way of staying in contact with your service users so they know you are still there. If you need help with any of this, Third Sector Lab is running free online workshops, have a look here. Also, I can offer basic advice! Drop me an email.

3/ WLSEN Website – as you know we recently updated our website. It now looks clean and crisp and it’s much easier to navigate. Over the next few weeks we will be spending time updating the information we hold on all of our members,on the website. It would be a huge help if you could email me any changes to your organisation – contact details, organisational changes – that sort of thing. Thank you in advance!
