Three Things for Thursday – 3rd June 2021

Good Morning! It is June – the most important thing about this month is that it’s my birthday on the 20th, although I don’t really like thinking about getting older. This particular June bring lots of changes for me – more on that down the page…

1/ Social Enterprise Awards Scotland 2021 – are back again this year! A great opportunity for your organisation to be recognised – have a look at the award categories here and for more info and to apply, click here.

2/ Social Enterprise Academy – Steps to Sustainability – is a National Lottery Heritage Fund programme and is open now for round 2 applications. To find out more or to download an application pack, click here.

3/ Changes at WLSEN – following on from my paragraph at the top of the page, I would like to let you know that I will be leaving WLSEN on the 30th June. I am moving back down to England where I will be embarking on a new chapter of my life and have made the brave decision to live with a boy again! It’s all very scary but I know I’ve made the correct choice.
I have really enjoyed the past three and a half years at WLSEN and will be eternally grateful to Fiona Pearson for taking a chance on me.  It was lovely to meet all of you and I wish you the very best of luck for the future – I am still here till the 30th though, so get in touch if you need anything, oh and keep an eye out for the job advertisement to hire my replacement (impossible if you ask me 😉
