Three Things for Thursday – 25th June 2020 – WLSEN

Hi folks – once again I’m guessing our wee newsletter is not a priority as you all try to get to grips with the lockdown easing announcements.  As ever if we can help with anything please get in touch.

1/ Planning for Re-opening zooms from Senscot are happening today and tomorrow – appreciate we’re a bit tight for time but session on “Retail” is today at 10.30 and “Hospitality and Tourism” is tomorrow at 10.30 – contact sarah@senscot.net to join.

2/ Procurement training – I’m keen to pull something together as there seems to be a move towards investment in the third sector becoming more contract based.   As you’re all likely to be at different stages, if this is of interest please let me know what by emailing me  just putting one work in the subject line i.e. Intro or  Tender Writing or Consortia

3/ Case studies request – at the latest TSSG, it was flagged up that case studies would be valuable to showcase how creatively and quickly you’ve responded during this crisis.  We took up the challenge thrown down by Tracy at Kidzeco and are frantically pulling together a bid to the Lottery Emerging Futures Fund.  It’ll be very competitive and we’ll have to wait a few weeks to hear but in the meantime get your thinking caps on and maybe even start sending us your ideas – admin@wlsen.org.uk
