Three Things for Thursday – 23rd July 2020

Hi Folks – hope you are all well?

The WLSEN “Virtual Office” will be closed next week so there’ll be “No Things for Thursday 30th July”, but we will be back in your inbox, bright and breezy, on Thursday 6th August.

1/ Third Sector Covid-19 Recovery Summit – Creating a New West Lothian – a group of West Lothian Third Sector folk got together a couple of weeks ago to write a letter of response to the recent Economic Recovery Report. Out of those disscusions came the idea of sharing the story of the value of our sector, at an event. Please save the date of Monday 7th September (10 till 12:30), in your diaries – more info about the event will be coming soon.

2/ WLSEN’s New Website – our much awaited new website has gone live! – at least the techie bit has been done. For Angie and I, the hard bit then begins as we work through the member info to make sure it’s as up to date as possible – we may be in touch!

3/ Social Shifters – a new digital platform with resources for social enterprises bith here and internationally – it also has a chat function to enable you to connect with other like minded folk. You do have to join but membership is free of charge.
