Three Things for Thursday – 21st January 2021

Hi folks – I am distracted today as my hubby has been poorly (although I am feeling fine) so we are off to get tested this afternoon – fingers crossed it’s negative!

1/ Adapt & Thrive – sorry for harping on but, rumour has it that it is undersubscribed, with early round applicants being offered the chance to ask for more. If this is something you think might be useful, please take a look here, or if you want to chat over your idea, call me or Douglas at Community Enterprise.

2/ SENScot – is the national voice for SENs (Social Enterprise Networks) including WLSEN. To fully represent all SEN members, they’re inviting you to also become SENScot members. We will be in touch over the coming weeks to confirm you’re happy to continue being a member of WLSEN and if so, if you’re happy to also be a member of SENScot. More info is available here.

3/ Mental Health – relevant for all of us at the moment – it was good to hear that the support provided by The Bridge Community Project, specifically for third sector staff, was very well received. If there is further need for some specific support for leaders of social enterprises, please let me know and I will explore funds to help – info@wlsen.org.uk
