Three Things for Thursday – 17th September 2020

Hi Folks – I’d like to say thank you to everyone for responding around the WLSEN Strategic Review – we’ll be looking to cement the findings into our new action plan over the coming weeks, so watch this space! We’re also looking at options for hot desking – if you have any space in your facilities, please get in touch.

1/ Recovery Fund (Adapt & Thrive) – an online video is available plus a number of webinars are happening – in addition, we’ve booked Douglas Westwater from Community Enterprise, for a 30 minute Q&A on the fund – get your questions ready and join us on Tuesday 22nd September at 9:15am – Zoom link is here.

2/ Social Enterprise Scotland Awards 2020 – well, sort of – SES have decided to forgo the awards this year but, you can still apply to be digitally showcased! – if interested, more info here. NB/if you’re not already a member of SES, it is FREE this year.

3/ Connecting Scotland – funding for organisations to equip those who are digitally excluded. Two target groups – 1/ households with children and 2/ care leavers up to the age of 26. Closing date is 11am on 5th October 2020. Guidance and application here.
