Three Things for Thursday – 13th August 2020

Hi Folks – lots of “out of office” replies just now which I hope means you’re all managing to get a bit of a holiday?
Hopefully that means you’ll be back and fighting fit for the WL Third Sector Summit on the 7th September – If you’ve not signed up/or shared, here’s the link.

1/ Funding – still no news re the SG Recovery Fund but it is due to be launched by the end of August. In the meantime, Foundation Scotland is now also focusing on recovery with their Response, Recovery and Resilience Fund. Also, don’t forget the Postcode Lottery is closing on the 19th August for it’s last round of 2020.

2/ Memberships – I’ve just read that CRNS is offering free or reduced-price memberships this year – seems to be a theme as Social Enterprise Scotland memberships are also free at the moment. Worth doing for a year and see if you feel they’re valuable.

3/ Collective Purchasing – this was one of the big discussion points during SE Reset week. If this is something you think would be useful for our sector, please can you complete the national questionnaire.
