What’s Happening in the Sector:

Job Support Scheme – the Job Support Scheme opens on the 1st November 2020 and will run for six months; it takes over from Furlough Scheme, run by the Government. It is designed to protect viable jobs in businesses who are facing lower demand over the winter period, due to Covid. There doesn’t seem to be much info or help out there re the scheme at the moment but hopefully this factsheet will shed some light.
