We have exciting news to share with our WLSEN network! We’re delighted to announce that Linda White has joined WLSEN as our new Network Manager.
Linda will lead and shape our WLSEN activities as we continue to support our members build back from the devastating impacts of the pandemic, and grow during a period of recovery. Linda is a sustainability champion with 25 years’ experience of driving strategic transformation, organisational change and stakeholder engagement. She brings her leadership and operational skills from senior roles in the public and private sector along with personal experiences as a volunteer with Wellbeing Economic Alliance (Scottish hub) and Trustee of the Jim Boyack Trust. More recently, Linda worked in the energy sector, helping the business transition to a net zero and nature positive future with a spotlight on environmental management, science based targets, climate literacy, and employee engagement while accelerating action towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a member of the UNGC UK Network Advisory Group (June 2020).
Linda said, “I am excited to start a role which is all about working together for people and planet. I want to come alongside West Lothian Social Enterprise Network, partners and funders who are doing amazing things across West Lothian (and Scotland) to help build a greener, fairer and more inclusive society. There is a lot of work to do, and I want to hit the challenge head on, drawing support from allies, old and new!”
