Communications Assistant with West Lothian Social Enterprise Network (WLSEN)
WLSEN is a member-led network for social enterprises operating in West Lothian.
Location: Office based in Fauldhouse
£9.34 Per hour.
18 hours p/week for 6 months (Hours can be worked flexibly)
Ideal start: September 2015
WLSEN offices are based in Fauldhouse, West Lothian, easily accessible by train from both Glasgow and Edinburgh, and bus in West Lothian, however this role can also be worked remotely in agreement with the network co-ordinator.
Your main tasks will include:
- Maintaining the WLSEN website including the directory, events, blog and case studies
- Updating WLSEN social media – facebook and twitter
- Creating and sending out the monthly newsletter using Mailchimp
- Events organisation and promotion
- Growing WLSEN membership
The successful individual would ideally come from a marketing and communications background. You should have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of using WordPress, Google Analytics, and Mailchimp or the ability to learn quickly.
The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of the third sector, particularly social enterprises, or demonstrate an interest in learning more.
